Noida Police on Monday stated it lodged an FIR and arrested one individual after a purportedly dubbed video of TV serial Ramayana was performed on a giant display screen inside a resto-bar within the metropolis.

The arrested individual is the supervisor of the resto-bar, based on the police.
The FIR has been lodged below Indian Penal Code sections 153A (act prejudicial to upkeep of concord, or prone to disturb public tranquillity) and 295 (injuring or defiling place of worship with intent to insult the faith of any class), the police stated.
Sharing the video of the clip on Twitter, an web person threatened vandalism on the resto-bar.
